My Home Orphanage

In 2011, the Italo-Mediterranean restaurant franchise La Mafia se sienta a la mesa began its collaboration with the My Home Orphanage in Kathmandu, Nepal.

The My Home Orphanage team works to improve the living conditions of these children, covering the basic needs of food, health and education, and offering them an environment that favours self-esteem and personal development.

Thanks to the contributions made by the Aragonese restaurant franchise La Mafia se sienta a la mesa, the orphanage takes in more than 35 orphaned and abandoned children or children from families with limited financial resources, giving them a home and providing them with schooling. It also gives 100 more children access to an educational plan for the future.

La Mafia se sienta a la mesa collaborates with the My Home Orphanage through the organisation of Solidarity Sports Events such as La Mafia Solidarity Paddle Tennis Tournaments and other activities such as the sale of the Spanish Christmas Lottery, and other ongoing projects.

Thanks to these actions, since 2011 La Mafia se sienta a la mesa has been assuming the annual cost of rent, electricity, water and basic day to day running of the Orphanage, guaranteeing the welfare of the children.
